Creating JDBC Connections

Perform the following steps to create JDBC connections:

1          Start WinSQL and click JDBC Mgr. Optionally, you may also select Open JDBC under the File Menu.

2          Click Add. Select a desired driver; for example select PostgreSQL when connecting to a PostgreSQL Server.

 

3          Specify parameters in the fields that build the Connection URL. You can alternatively manually type the entire URL.

4          Click the Test button to confirm the parameters.
