Syncrify upgrade to 1010 fails

I'm upgrading Syncrify through the web interface on a Windows 2008R2 server from 998 to 1010 (and then from 977 to 1010 when the first upgrade failed).  The download occurs, but when I restart the service it won't restart.  No logs are created, and the Event Viewer just has a Service Failed to Start error, with the message "Invalid Function".  Restarting the entire server didn't change the result at all.  I had a backup of the Syncrify folder for version 977, which works when I restore it.  I tried the upgrade again and got the same result.  Currently I have reverted back to the 977 version (I didn't take a backup of 998).

A different machine running Windows 10 was able to successfully upgrade to 1010 from 998.
