login failure with correct credentials

I am unable to log in via web interface despite providing correct credentials.

When looking at the browser console output, I see this warning message:

A form was submitted in the windows-1252 encoding which cannot encode all Unicode characters, so user input may get corrupted. To avoid this problem, the page should be changed so that the form is submitted in the UTF-8 encoding either by changing the encoding of the page itself to UTF-8 or by specifying accept-charset=utf-8 on the form element.

Since I use a complex multicharacter password, I wonder if this is causing the login failure.

Dima,

The current version of Syncrify does not accept passwords in foreign characters. You can only use English letters, numbers and special characters.

These are not foreign characters.  These are latin letters, numbers and special characters.  However, since Syncrify is a multi-platform (not just Windows) application, going away from the "windows-1252" encoding to something a bit more universal would be a good idea, IMO.
