Revolving around the core of technology
Hello,
I've had this issue with 2 different clients of ours:
We use the Syncrify client to back-up an SQL database to our back-up servers. This worked perfectly up until this week.
I Installed our database on a Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio 2017 and when I now try to set up the Syncrify client, we cannot connect to the database through the plugin of the Syncrify client. It's as if we have a wrong password, the connection parameters have a red cross next to them. And I'm sure the password is correct.
Is there something that needs to be done to fix this?
Do you know if the security option in SQL server was changed? SQL Server has two security options:
The MS SQL plugin in Syncrify requires the SQL Server authentication. If this is disabled by any change, Plugin won't be able to connect. Note that when you use SQL Server Management Studio, it typically uses the Integrated security and therefore, you're able to connect.
