Revolving around the core of technology
I submitted a support request through the Syncrify server but have not received a reply yet. I am trying to use Syncrify (on a QNAP) to back up a number of Apple Mac laptops. Every time I start the Syncrify client I get a message that in order to use the Java command line I must install the Java JDK. This occurs on reboot as well (as presumably it is starting the background service). The client does open, but I do not know if it is fully functional.
The message does go away if I install the Java JDK, but that is several hundred megabytes and I cannot require that on every Apple Mac that I want to back up.
How can I get rid of this message?
Thank you,
DAK
Just wanted to follow up that I was contacted by technical support, they reporduced the problem, and provided a fix for me to test. I assume that this will become part of next version distributed but I did want to acknowledge here that I got excellent support and followup from the Synametrics team.
Thank you
