can't use automatic upgrade from v 4.2 build 943 to v 4.2 build 963

Good day. 

error message is: an error occured during download. can't get www.synametrics.com/files/Syncrify/SyncrifyUpd.zip.md5 to C:\Sincrify\patches\SyncrifyUpd.zip.md5

I found tjat upgrade could be done manually but need to get those files from support.

Could you please help?

looks i found a solution. I just needed to clean up patches directory from old files.

Gennady,

I am glad you were able to fix this on your own. Following comment is for folks who run into a similar issue.

  • Try removing every file but AppLaunchar.jar from $INSTALL_DIR\patches folder. $INSTALL_DIR refers to the installation folder of Syncrify, which is typically set to C:\Syncrify on Windows and /opt/Syncrify on Linux.
  • Once the files are removed, try upgrading again by clicking the Check for update link in the web interface.
