A customer forgot the encryption password he set on the backup. We need to restore file. Is there a way to find the password?
Unfortunately there not much we do if you forget that password. The encryption key, for security reasons, is only stored on the client's machine and is never sent to the server. Without this key the only option left is hit-n-trial. Download/copy an encrypted version of a file from Syncrify Server to the client machine. Start Syncrify Client and click "Encrypt/Decrypt". Try decrypting the file using different password combinations.
