Hello

To get a faster connection after I logon using ODBC connection.   I don't need to fetch catalog information

1) Where is the global switch to turn off the Fetch catalog asynchronously option?  I have more than 1 ODBC connection defined. 

2) Can this option be turned off during the installation process?

These options are only available on a per-connection basis. One global value you can change is "Lazy Fetch", which restricts WinSQL to fetch just table names and is much faster. WinSQL will fetch column, index and trigger information when the user clicks on a particular table. To turn Lazy Fetch on, go to Edit/Options and Lazy Fetch Catalog.
