Is there any way to lock the files on the server side during transfer and then unlock them once it's finished?

There is no way to lock the file on the server side. The assumption is that Syncrify Server is the only process accessing files on the destination. You should not have any other process modifying files. Doing that will result in problems.

If you have another process that needs to move/change files, you should do that once backup is over. Check Hooks in Syncrify ( http://web.synametrics.com/SyncrifyHooks.htm ) for a work-around to see when a backup finishes so you can run your own scripts.
