When opening program the restoring history window will not minamize even if the program is. Some databases take for ever to build catalog and this window covers all other programs while you wait. This is an anoying situation as it blocks view of the other stuff you are working on.

You can do a couple of things to speed up the initial loading process:

• Go to Edit/Options and check Lazy Fetch Catalog. This will only load table names and not their details, which will be faster
• Try restricting the catalog by a specific user rather than displaying the objects from the entire database. This is done by selecting a user from the User List dropdown list under Catalog Details tab.
