Hi,

We've been running Synaman for a couple weeks now. Generally impressed with it. However, when we send a link to download a file the notification we get always says "User name : Administrator". This is true even if we send to one specific person and require a password! Shouldn't this notice report who downloaded? At least the email address it was sent to? Is this a setting somewhere I'm missing?

I am assuming you are referring to Public Links. By design, SynaMan does not require you to put an email address when generating a public link. If you leave the Name and Email fields blank, it will simply generate the link without sending any email. The user can then copy/paste the link and send them to anyone they prefer. This is the reason why the sender for "Notifications" always the admin account.
