What is involved with updating my licenses so that I may use the WinSQL Oracle driver with a non-Synametrics database query tool, such as IBM Showcase Query ? Right now, I am using Oracle's driver in my ODBC connection for use by Showcase Query.
J, Unfortunately, the license for these driver do not allow that. These drivers are actually published by Data Direct Technologies and we have obtained a license from them to bundle their driver along with our product (WinSQL). If you wish to use these drivers with another tool, you will have to get a license from Data Direct Technologies.
