Does the web browser interface support pausing or resuming broken uploads/downloads?
For upload I know Javascript has a file slice command. For download it may be more difficult. With a Java plugin in the web page it should be no problem. The akamai DLM does this.

Although there is no way to pause a backup, the enhanced browser can resume an interupted backup. Therefore, if you click the X button on the upper right hand corner, which will abruptly terminate the Java Applet, SynaMan will resume the partially transferred file where it left off.
