Moving SynaMan to new server - What the best process?

I am needing to move SynaMan to a new server (Windows Server 2012R2).  I can install SynaMan on the new server and migrate the existing file shares to the new server.  I have over 100 user setup for those file shares.  What is the best way to migrate the data/configuration information.  We are using Active Directory for the authentication process in case that matters.  I have resaeched this in the KBAs and Forum, but di dnot find anything.

Thanks in advance

Moving SynaMan to new server - What the best process?

I did just find a forum posting to copy over the UserMappings.xml file.  Is there a config file for the other settings?  I am not sure why the original implamentation placed the user shares on the old service's C drive.  Are there any issues with moving to a D Drive?

Thanks,

Sam

One very good thing in SynaMan is that it stores everything in files, as supposed to Windows Registry. Therefore, if you copy files from the config folder to the new installation it should work. The only tricky part is the paths. If files were stored in C:\FolderOne\FolderTwo on the older machine but are now stored in F:\F1\F2, you will have to manually do search/replace in UserMappings.xml. Other than that you should be able just copy them manually.
