Revolving around the core of technology
First of all, I love this product. It is precisely what I was looking for as a SMB IT consultant. I tell people about it every chance I get. My only complaint is that it was hard to find.
It would be nice to be able to right click on a folder and create a public link for download that lets the recepient download all of the files within folder individually, and not a zip file. Also, it would be nice if the files that are added to the folder or modified later automatically become available to download through the public link.
Just thought I would add that the zip file should still be an option, just thought the above feature would be nice. I have had people use Synaman to post files for a convention so vendors can upload materials for the attendents and some vendors don't get their material uploaded soon enough and want to add stuff later. That's just one example. I can think of a lot of instances when the above feature would be nice for biologists, lawyers, engineers, etc. Right now, what we have been doing is just creating one login account for all of those public downloaders, and that works. Just isn't as user friendly for the person setting up the folder and I usually have to help them.
