Hi
I have been running Syncrify for some time as a schedule and have recently noticed
it had stopped copying new files.
When I try to run the client backup manually (after an application re-install) it
just hangs around 8% of the way through. The server and client are both fairly high
spec devices and I have left it for about 10 hours with no change.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to why this is now happening?

Check the log files on both client and server. Check http://web.synametrics.com/syncrifylogfiles.htm
for details.
Also, make sure you are using the latest build.

Syncrify Client Hangs
Both client and Server are running the latest version.
The server has no logs with anything useful listed, the only thing client side is:

Connection reset
No sure whats happening here as there are no connection issues to the server by anything
else.

Syncrify Client Hangs
I'm also getting these messages in the event logs on the client PC.
Volume Shadow Copy Service error: Unexpected error querying for the IVssWriterCallback
interface. hr = 0x80070005, Access is denied.
. This is often caused by incorrect security settings in either the writer or requestor
process.
Operation:

Writer Class Id: {e8132975-6f93-4464-a53e-1050253ae220}
Writer Name: System Writer
Writer Instance ID: {2a78801e-b27a-41c0-aea1-a92250707663}
That seems to be pointing to the syncrify client application

Syncrify Client Hangs
After spending most of the night fighting the client I managed to get most files backed
up. I have had to de-select files and folders the client seems to hang on however
there have been no errors logged about it I simply see the thread exit in a process
monitor.
It looks like there are unhandled exceptions in the code and I can only think these
are more recent issues as I've has this installed for some time with no problems.
