Can't get WinSQL to open properly

I am trying to get WinSQL to run in Windows 7 running in a Parallels VM. When I launch it the ODBC driver window pops-up just fine but if I cancel the window or choose a driver and try to connect an icon shows up on the task bar but I can't ever get the window to open up. It always acts like it is minimized. I have reinstalled several times with different options. I have tried to use the Windows Compatibility checker to try launching it with various options. None seem to work. Any help would be appreciated.

Can't get WinSQL to open properly

What version of WinSQL are you using? I had a similar problem with version 6.5 after I switched from a two monitor system to a one monitor system. WinSQL remembers the position it was last opened and if you remove a monitor it will draw itself outside the boundaries. This problem was fixed in the newer versions. Try removing WinSQL.conf file from your home directory. This is the file that contains the screen coordinates. That seemed to work, thanks a ton for the suggestion. BTW, I am running the latest version: WinSQL Version: 9.0.107.624 >What version of WinSQL are you using?
