I am not sure about Synology but have installed Syncrify on FreeNAS. It works fine.
Do
you have Terminal access to the Synology box? If your Synalogy box runs Linux, you
can download the installer for Linux and that should work. If your box runs BSD, you
will have to install Java and then run Syncrify.
In the worst case scenario, you can mount the Synology disk to a regular Linux or
Windows machine and then use it.
