DR-Slave working or not?

Does the syncrify master server alert if the DR-Slave is down or is not replicating? How do I monitor this with out having to manually log into the DR-Slave server and look at the file server for new files?

There is no alert (perhaps we should add this feature). However, you should see a lot of error messages in Syncrify.log file on the server side.

Could we have this be a new feature? It could be easy to implement as the DR-Slave get's the masters settings anyways. I would also have to assume that the software component of the server side of Syncrify would have the email sending feature installed on the DR-Slave. If it could simply send a daily status email like we get from the Syncrify master server each night that would be great.

To me, the whole point of a backup is futile if you don't get a notice of failure and success. I love that feature in the Syncrify client as well as the server but the server admin needs notice of failure and success for the backup of their backup as well.

Maybe if you didn't want to change the UI a setting that could be flagged in a config file on the DR-slave would work just fine as well.
