HI,

I am trying to use the Database Catalog to view my queries.

When i click on "Procedure Script" I get the following message: "Invalid String or buffer length"

I am using DB2 v.10.5 and WINSQL v11.0

Which version of DB2 are you using? Is it iSeries or UDB? Please note that the DB2 Plugin, which is responsible for fetching the SQL script for stored procedures, only works with UDB.

Not with the existing plugin. If you like, you can modify the plugin yourself. These are just XML files located in the $INSTALL_DIR of WinSQL. Look for wsxDB2UDB.xml . I recommend you create a copy of this file and call it something like wsxDB2ISeries.xml . Once done you will see another plugin in WinSQL for iSeries. You can modify/create any scripts you see in there. Some queries are encrypted. You can replace them with clear text in your version of the plugin.
