Enable to send email

Hi guys,

I'm having some problems with Syncrify server (4.2 build 942).
when I try to send emails (test or reports) I get an error message : Unable to send a test email to xxx@gmail.com. Error: [EOF]

same thing in the Syncrify.log file : 2018-02-02 10:28:50,409 ERROR handler.Mailer - Unable to send email. Error: [EOF]

Any Idea ?
Thx for the help

PS : My SMTP parameters are good and work on an other Syncrify server

Enable to send email

Clair,

Go to the About screen, manually change the URL in your browser from ...operation=about to ...operation=debug . Then, check the version of JRE. If it is 1.7 or an older build of 1.8, upload to the latest JRE following directions on http://web.synametrics.com/Update-JRE.htm .

If that does not work, download Email-Sender from http://xeams.com/Email-Sender.htm and try sending an email directly to the SMTP server. Send us the logs from Email-Sender.

Enable to send email

Hello,

I've tried the software.
It seam's that my IP is blocked by google (I was using there smtp relay) for I don't know what reason.

I've tried other account settings and it's OK

Thx for the help

PS : Just a warning : When someone uses your software (email-sender) it is concidered as threatening use of email (sender or receiver) I've got my personnal email address block that way and I had to set some settings in my gmail account to be able to receive email that way.
