Revolving around the core of technology
I have 32-bit SQL driver installed in a 2016 Windows server.
My WinSQL 64bit (Lite) seem to only show 64 bit odbc driver installed.
How open a new connection 32-bit SQL driver inside WinSQL 64bit?
Magnus,
You must use WinSQL32 when using 32-bit ODBC drivers. The installer for WinSQL will put both WinSQL32 and WinSQL64 on your machine. If you decided not to install WinSQL32 during installation, I recommend rerunning the installer and letting it install binaries for both architectures.
ODBC drivers are embedded in DLLs. Windows operating system does not allow a 64bit process to load a 32bit DLL and vice-versa. Therefore, if your ODBC driver is 32-bit, you must use the 32-bit version of WinSQL.
Thankyou! Now it's works perfect.
