Enabling Delete After Backup

I am following the steps on the website to enable the Delete After Backup option, but it's still grayed out on my Client application. Has this procedure changed or is it just a bug? What do I need to do to enable this feature?

Enabling Delete After Backup

Dear Lucas,

This looks like a bug in the latest version of Syncrify Client. We will fix this in the next update. Use the following method as a work around:

  • Open Syncrify Client and click Open Data Folder under the File menu
  • This will open up a folder that is refered as the Data Folder
  • Create a new text file called useOldGui.txt . Contents of this file are irrelavent.
  • Exit Syncrify Client and reopen it. Now you will see the older GUI and the checkbox should work.
  • Optional step: Once the profile is saved, you can remove useOldGui.txt file so newer GUI can be used.
