Extra files in folders

I have Syncrify set for 2-way syncing with no versioning...

and when files or folders are deleted, the folders on the server side contain files with the extension .synDeletedDir or .synDeletedFile

Is this a bug?  Why are these files here as they make a huge mess in all the folders.

Extra files in folders

Can we move this to the BUG section ?

If you use the cloud sync web interface and select a folder that use to have files in it but have been deleted on the client and then sync'd to the server...

the web interface shows the folder as empty, but if you select that folder and download it you receive a ZIP file containing all the file names that use to be in that folder with the extension .synDeletedFile (or .synDeletedDir if it contains deleted folders)

This behaviour is certainly incorrect and therefore a BUG :(

Extra files in folders

This is not bug - its how Syncrify manages the deleted files. If you do not want to see these extra files on the server, consider using a broker machine as described in scenario# 2 on http://web.synametrics.com/SyncrifyUsageScenarios.htm

Extra files in folders

If I'm using the Web Interface to Explore Folders and it shows an empty folder, this is fine...

But if I click to download that empty folder, it should download an empty ZIP file, not a ZIP file full of garbage files.

And Scenario #2 basically says I must puchase another license just to manage files from multiple users on the server instead of simply adding or deleting files straight off the server. :(
