When you run a backup using...
BackupClient.exe myprofile.syncrify
A progressbar window pops up while the backup takes place.
Is there a way to prevent this window from displaying?
It is rather annoying when you are working on the computer and this window pops up due to a scheduled backup.
Try the following command line:
BackupClient.exe -console myprofile.syncrify
Thank you so much!!
That did the trick.
Do you know how to make the command wait for the profile to finish before going back to the command prompt?
I use it in a script and the script has to wait for the profile to finish before continiueing.
I have a feeling you have an & sign at the end of the command, which is causing it to run in the background. For example, the following command will run in the background return control back to your script right away
java -jar SyncrifyClient.jar -console yourProfile.syncrify &
Removing the end & and the script will sit there until the job is finished.
