Revolving around the core of technology
Hello together,
I have just upgraded to WinSQL Lite Version 10.
If I open an .sql File now, the Program itself will open, but not with the selected File.
Is that a bug, or what can I do?
Regards
Hans
I'm getting the same problem with WinSQL Professional. I use my queries every day on several databases and it's creating a real problem.
What is the exact build number of WinSQL? If it is less than 10.0.151.x, please download the latest build and let us know if you still run into this problem. The download link is http://synametrics.com/files/WinSQL.zip
I am using version: 10.0.156.696 and it still has the same error. Tried to install the version from the link provided in the post but that install fails....
Jan,
You must disable the "AutoSave sessions" feature in WinSQL in order to open a file via double-clicking. Click Options under the Edit menu and then uncheck AutoSave sessions.
This is done by design. When AutoSave is enabled, WinSQL will try to open up every connection you had in an earlier session. For example, if you were connected to 5 back-end, it will open all five. In that case, it won't know which connection to open the new file in and therefore, double-clicking is disabled.
it still does not show file I just opened, shows WinSql 32bit (professional)
