Server wont run on Mac OSX 10.8.2

Hi,

I've just downloaded the syncrify server for mac osx. I mounted the image, copied the app to the applications folder. When running the first time, it asked to install java runtime 6, so I said yes and that installed. I've also installed the latest java runtime 7 update 9 (for security reasons).

When running the syncrify app a second time, after the java installs, it then said "syncrify is damanged and cant be opened. you should move it to the trash". I figured that may be due to mountain lions new app security stuff, so I've "allowed from anywhere" in the firewall. I trashed the app and recopied into application, ran again and now it just bounces in the dock for a couple minutes - after a while it stops bouncing and right clicking the app in the dock shows "application not responding".

I've killed the app and tried to run several times, but get the same bouncing and then "application not responding". A reboot did help either.

Please advise - I'm keen to get this working for all of our servers.

Thanks.

Sean,

After the icon stops jumping, try opening Safari and put http://localhost:5800 for the URL. I am not sure why Mac says it is not responding, in my case it is running in the background just fine.

Hi Peter,

The web dashboard came right up, even while the app icon was jumping. It works, even though right clicking the app icon shows "application not responding". Guess I'll just ignore that quirk ;)

Thanks.
