Syncrify client issue after reinstallation

I have uninstalled the 4.8 version and then installed the 5.5 and since then the back up is no longer working on certain clients.

I have read on https://web.synametrics.com/SyncrifyDownloadClientV6.htm that this is not the correct way to update clients after I uninstalled the clients.

Any idea on how to rectify this? PS: Our Syncrify server is updated, but it doesnt seem to update the clients automatoclly as the documentation say.
Thanks!

Syncrify client issue after reinstallation

Did you reinstall Syncrify Server or Syncrify Client?

Are you getting any error messages when trying to run Syncrify Client? If yes, what is it?

Please refer to https://web.synametrics.com/syncrifyclientautoupgrade.htm for possible reasons why Syncrify Client does not upgrade.

Syncrify client issue after reinstallation

I reinstalled the Syncrify Client on some workstations:

Below is the error message I receive by email after the backup runs:

Syncrify client issue after reinstallation

Hi,

I see the backup ran only for about 2 seconds. That means that the client never connected to the server. I recommend you look at the log files on the client to see the actual error message. Check https://web.synametrics.com/syncrifylogfiles.htm for details on how to get to the log files on Syncrify Client.
