Versioning for home use

Dear sir/madam, I am currently looking for a home backup solution and I'm considering Syncrify. An important feature for me is versioning to protect myself against data corruption and to always be able to replicate original unedited photos. The problem is that versioning is only available in the professional version and that one is just to expensive for me. Is there another way to get versioning just for home use? I don't have a home office or anything like that, just backing up some laptops and pc's we use for editing our family pictures and some documents. Regards, J-Bird

I am in the same boat. However, I can understand why you guys chose to exclude versioning from the Personal edition - after all. you need to pay bills as well :-) Anyway, my data files are worth more than the cost of a single license and I am going to spend $50 and purchase a Professional edition just for versioning and to support a great software. I have been using DeltaCopy for a long time. I would love to use Syncrify, but I wouldn't love to use it to the tune of $400 (which would be the cost to license the 8 machines in my household). I'm not seeing much evidence of response from the Synametrics people here, but if there was an $80 family edition which was basically professional edition licensed for an unlimited number of clients in a single household, I would have used these keypresses to order it.
