Using the Scheduler Error

When trying to add a schedule I get the error: Unable to add schedule. Refer to the log file for errors. Log indicates: 2010-07-20 16:28:41,375 {INFO main} [com.synametrics.syncrify.client.R] $L - --- ---------- NEW SESSION ----------- 2010-07-20 16:28:44,328 {ERROR AWT-EventQueue-0} [com.synametrics.syncrify.client.r] $L - Failed calling NewWorkItem. Access denied Not sure if anyone has run into this problem. Would like to know if this is a Windows error or a bug with in Syncrify. Thanks for your help.

Using the Scheduler Error

Ernie, It is most likely a Windows error. Syncrify uses Windows built-in scheduler to schedule tasks. If your user ID does not have permission to create a scheduled task, you will run into this error. Try creating a task manually. Select "Scheduled Task" in your control panel and try creating a task. Type the following for program name: c:\Program Files\SyncrifyClient\SyncrifyClient.exe YourProfileName.syncrify Confirm the path is correct before creating the task and replace "YourProfileName" with the actual profile name.
