Syncrify saving as root

Hey, Using syncrify to backup my windows PC to my linux server. I want to browse the linux backed up files over the network, using network file access - not through the web interface; watching videos, etc. However, it seems to be saving all backup files as root, preventing access through the network. How do I turn this off? Bless, Chris

Syncrify saving as root

Also, how do I turn on incremental backup? I just did a backup, and then added one text file and did it again and it took 2 hours again. Surely the second time it should take like a minute? Syncrify saving as root

Chris, Files on the server will be owned by the user that is used to run Syncrify server. When you connect from either the web interface or Syncrify client, same user is used the access the backed up files and therefore, you should not run into any permission issues. However, if you are trying to access these files from a different mechanism, you might have to set the folder permissions so other users can read these files.
